Job summary

EY GPS is seeking an IT Audit professional to deliver quality client services on audits and IT control engagements for government and public sector clients. You will conduct research, test IT controls, and help lead client discussions while building strong relationships with client personnel.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in information assurance or IT controls, with willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
• Experience preparing written or verbal materials, and presenting project results to clients.
• Must be able to obtain federal security clearance.
• Travel up to 30% in federal practice and up to 80% in other contexts; travel may be required within or beyond geographic region.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in-person/onsite as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Technology Risk (IT Audit) team, you will serve as a key resource in delivering quality client services on financial statement audits, attestation engagements and IT control projects. You will conduct research as needed, assist in the testing of IT general and application controls, prepare for and potentially lead client meetings, establish relationships with client personnel at the appropriate levels, and deepen sector and client knowledge.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
• Experience preparing written or verbal materials, and assisting with presenting project results to clients.
• Must be able to obtain and federal security clearance
• The Government and Public Sector Practice’s staffing model is to assign resources to projects aligned to the office within the metropolitan area you have been hired; however, in certain circumstances, travel may be required within and/or beyond your geographic region based on client and project needs. For roles within the federal practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 30% is preferred. Within the state, local and education practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 80% is preferred
• Candidate MUST be comfortable working in‑person/onsite as needed

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $69,700 to $115,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $83,700 to $130,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
