Regent University is seeking a policy-focused professional to monitor federal, state, and local legislation and provide concise summaries for leadership and staff. The role includes drafting briefing memos and talking points for meetings with elected officials and staff.

You will track bills, hearings, and floor actions, maintain a contacts database, and assist with outreach to legislators and coalition partners.

Competenze

Strong written communication skills are required.
Solid research and analytical abilities to assess legislation and summarize findings.
Understanding of the legislative process at federal, state, and local levels.
