Job summary

Abnormal AI is seeking a Trust Analyst II to join the Compliance Trust team, owning governance programs and the company’s policy center. You will drive risk management operations, from risk registers to controls, and partner with auditors and stakeholders to ensure effective governance across information security, privacy, and AI compliance.

The role emphasizes auditing mindset, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate complex technology into clear governance actions.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in cyber security, technology risk, GRC, and/or technical compliance roles
• At least 2 years focused on ISO 27001 implementation and maintenance
• Proven project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent compliance projects
• Experience owning or facilitating cross-functional governance programs or committees
• Strong understanding of ISMS, control mapping across frameworks, and continuous control monitoring
• Experience with audit automation and continuous control monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Own and run Abnormal's governance committees including AI Governance, Data Governance, Security Governance, and other governance programs
• Own end-to-end policy program: drafting, revising, maintaining policies, and managing Policy Center
• Manage risk operations: risk register, risk assessments, risk exceptions and renewal reviews
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and advise leadership on impact
• Drive internal control effectiveness and propose enhancements
• Conduct compliance readiness assessments and report to management
• Educate and train process owners on controls and control documentation
• Develop and manage the risk register with KRIs and KPIs
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate with departments to mitigate risks
• Identify gaps in policies and processes and develop remediation solutions
• Lead remediation and risk mitigation with root-cause analysis and action plans
• Design program operations and implement supporting technology
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and maintain clear communication on status
• Report program health, effectiveness, and risks to senior management
