Job summary

New Mexico Mutual is seeking a Governance and Compliance Program Administrator to oversee enterprise compliance programs, contract lifecycle management, and corporate policies. The role partners with the legal and corporate governance team to coordinate projects, maintain records, and protect confidential information.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and at least three years in corporate compliance or legal operations, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; contract management certification or paralegal education considered.
• Three+ years in corporate compliance, legal operations, contract management, paralegal, or related experience.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise compliance program administration and support to the legal and corporate governance team.
• Maintain organized filing systems, document retention, and records management.
• Draft, proofread, edit, format, and finalize legal documents and correspondence.
• Process subpoenas, discovery, and records requests; coordinate with other departments for record collection.
• Track regulatory filings and maintain related records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and policy approvals; monitor expirations and renewals.
• Handle confidential corporate, employee, medical, and business information with discretion.
