Job summary

Tech Army, LLC seeks an experienced IT Governance professional to lead risk assessments, develop and maintain governance frameworks, and support the GRC program. You will work with tools like OneTrust and data governance platforms to drive compliance and security across the organization.

The role requires 4+ years in IT governance, strong communication, and familiarity with BI tools; CRISC/CISA certifications are preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree required; MIS/IT Audit preferred.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in an IT Governance environment.
• CRISC or CISA certifications preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for knowledge transfer.
• Experience conducting risk assessments to determine actions and strategic steps.
• Governance, Risk and Compliance execution demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments to identify actionable steps and strategy.
• Support Governance, Risk, and Compliance activities and reporting.
• Create clear, concise reports and management presentations.
• Maintain, update, and create IT governance frameworks, controls, and policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement BI and data governance initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, IT Audit or other related fields of study. Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in an Information Technology \ Governance Environment
• Industry Certifications preferred e.g. CRISC or CISA
• Strong oral and written communication skills for knowledge transfer.
• Experience to conduct risk assessments to determine actions and strategic next steps
• Demonstrated effectiveness in Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Proficiency with software products, including:
• IT Governance Tool – OneTrust preferred
• Data Governance Tools (e.g. Databricks, Alation, Collibra)
• Data and AI Security (e.g. Varonis, MS Purview)
• Maintaining, updating, and creating Frameworks, controls, and policies
• Ability to create clear and concise reports and presentation for management and leadership
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools a plus
