Job summary

Tech Army, LLC is seeking a Governance Analyst to support risk assessments, vendor audits, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities in a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA.

This 12-month engagement (with potential extension) requires a Bachelor's degree in information technology, MIS, IT Audit, or related field and at least 4 years of hands-on IT governance experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, MIS, IT Audit, or related field.
• At least 4 years hands-on IT governance experience.
• Proven effectiveness in governance, risk, and compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication and knowledge transfer.
• Familiarity with IT governance, data governance, and data/AI security tools (Databricks, Alation, Collibra, Varonis, Purview).

We’re seeking a Governance Analyst with hands-on IT governance experience to support risk assessments, vendor audits, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and identify actions and strategic next steps
• Support vendor audits and GRC activities
• Create, maintain, and update frameworks, controls, and policies
• Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, IT Audit, or a related field
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in an IT governance environment
• Demonstrated effectiveness in governance, risk, and compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge transfer
• Proficiency with relevant IT governance, data governance, and data and AI security tools. Examples include Databricks, Alation, Collibra, Varonis, and Microsoft Purview

A master’s degree, CRISC or CISA certification, and experience with OneTrust are preferred. Tableau or other BI tool experience is a plus.
