Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a GovCloud Developer Platform software engineer to help deliver robust onboarding experiences, cloud-native services, and resilient infrastructure for high-compliance environments.

You will build and maintain microservices using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure quality and security.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of software development experience in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud-native tooling and orchestration (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile, TDD, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feature components for high-compliance environments under guidance from senior team members.
• Build and maintain microservices and cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Author substrate-aware configurations, modules, and templates based on team patterns.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve standard system issues to support feature delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and monitor telemetry to troubleshoot operational problems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and improve the codebase.
