Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Storage Engineer to support government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD, Sterling, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves engineering storage and backup solutions, automating data access, and collaborating withgov teams and cloud providers.

The candidate will develop test plans, maintain demos, and provide Tier 3/4 support, with emphasis on ATO and security engineering across SAN, virtualization, and cloud storage environments.

Qualifications

• Expertise with enterprise storage and backup platforms and hyper-converged solutions.
• Full lifecycle SAN administration with capacity planning.
• Experience with VMware and virtualized environments.
• Windows and Red Hat administration proficiency.
• Familiar with cloud storage (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and related tech.
• Broad knowledge across virtualization, networking, and data center migration.

Responsibilities

• Engineer storage and backup solutions, on/off premise.
• Collaborate with Gov Leads, vendors, and cloud providers.
• Develop and maintain storage demo environments.
• Create and execute test plans for storage systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements.
• Provide storage upgrade recommendations and system integration.
• Offer Tier 3/4 support for storage and backup platforms.
• Conduct system security engineering with a Storage/SAN focus.
• Install, monitor, and optimize storage to achieve ATO.
