Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Storage Engineer to support government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD, Sterling, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO. You will engineer storage and backup solutions, automate data sharing and access management, and collaborate with Gov Tech Leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers.

Day-to-day involves designing, testing, and implementing next-generation storage systems, maintaining a test-lab environment, and performing root cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms (NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, NetBackup).
• Hands-on SAN administration, capacity planning, and optimization.
• VMware and virtualized environments experience required.
• Windows and Red Hat administration proficiency.
• Familiarity with cloud storage (AWS/Azure).
• Broad knowledge of virtualization, networking, data center migration, and DR.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis, design, testing, and implementation of storage and backup systems.
• Collaborate with government leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers on new technologies.
• Maintain a storage demo environment in the test lab and develop test plans.
• Execute root cause analysis and propose improvements.
• Provide storage upgrade recommendations and assist system integration.
• Offer Tier 3/4 support for storage and backup platforms.
• Perform security engineering focusing on Storage/SAN and achieve ATO.
• Install, monitor, and optimize storage solutions to meet ATO requirements.
