Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to support Government Mission Critical projects in Columbus, OH. You will lead on-site activities, manage safety and quality, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in commercial construction, and proficiency with ProCore, BlueBeam, and MS Office. This on-site position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience all a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and administer the HITT safety program, ensuring accidents/incidents are reported and investigated.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project and manage the on-site safety program.
• Lead on-site collaboration, schedule adherence, and relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Document daily activities and manage punch list and closeout through owner/architect acceptance.
