Job summary
BerryDunn — Assurance, Tax and Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Strategy and Operations Consultant to lead technology assessments, planning, modernization, and implementation support for state government clients. This role will help clients evaluate current-state IT environments and translate recommendations into actionable roadmaps.
You will partner with IT and business leaders to create practical IT strategies, governance models, and comprehensive roadmaps, guiding modernization
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT strategy, IT operations, and technology consulting for government clients.
- Experience leading large-scale government technology initiatives, including assessments, planning, modernization, and cloud migration.
- Knowledge of IT governance, service management, data networking, cloud concepts, and enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with COBIT, NIST, ISO controls and strong client-facing communication.
Responsibilities
- Assess current-state IT operations and governance to identify improvements.
- Develop multi-year IT strategic plans and roadmaps for government clients.
- Lead workshops and governance discussions with stakeholders.
- Manage projects to deliver modernization and operational improvements.
- Support business development and client presentations.
