Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Riverside, MO seeks a Sales Consultant to build strong, profitable relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, retailers, and hospitality professionals through tailored seafood and gourmet product solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product mix, optimize deliveries, and grow revenue, leveraging market knowledge and professional presentation. Two+ years in outside sales and seafood experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales experience in perishable foods; seafood experience preferred.
• 2-5 years professional sales in foodservice, or 5-7 years in chef/restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative sales approaches.
• Manage and expand existing accounts by building trust and providing tailored product solutions.
• Collaborate with chefs, restaurant owners, and stakeholders to exceed expectations and goals.
• Represent and promote premium seafood and gourmet products and stay informed on market trends.
• Coordinate with Product, Purchasing and Operations to align inventory with demand.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
• Organize daily activities for timely follow-ups and product delivery coordination.
• Prepare proposals, maintain sales records, and report progress against goals.
• Research prospects using CRM, social media, and trade directories.
