Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is seeking a Kitchen Clerk – Production (Plating) to join our gourmet Kitchen team. You’ll portion, plate, garnish, and package freshly prepared foods while upholding quality, freshness, and presentation standards.

In this role, you’ll follow plating guides, stock stations, and collaborate with chefs to complete orders accurately and on schedule. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous kitchen or food-service experience preferred.
• Strong eye for presentation and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Portion and arrange prepared foods neatly on trays and containers.
• Garnish and finish dishes according to plating standards.
• Package, seal, label, and date products accurately.
• Inspect freshness, quality, and portion sizes before display or storage.
• Rotate ingredients per food-safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with chefs and production team to complete orders on time.
• Assist with light prep and other kitchen duties as assigned.
