Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring for a dishwashing position in our kitchen. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean kitchen, assist with deliveries, and ensure timely, courteous customer service while supporting store programs and health regulations.

Opportunities to handle rotating tasks, stock, and merchandising with a team that values natural foods. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Able to bend, twist, squat, and reach.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation regulations and safety practices.
• Keeps working and shopping areas clean and equipment in safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and pricing accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
