Job summary

Gary's Wine & Marketplace is seeking a Gourmet Manager to lead the cheese and gourmet items department. You will meet with vendors to bring in new products, mentor the Gourmet Team, and ensure compliance with health and weights standards.

The role includes oversight of inventory, waste management, scheduling, and reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices, with additional shift lead duties. Weekend and holiday duties apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience mentoring and training team members.
• Knowledge of inventory control and order reconciliation.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Identify new products and vendor opportunities for the store.
• Develop expert knowledge of cheeses and gourmet items.
• Mentor Gourmet Team members and ensure training compliance.
• Oversee inventory, waste management, scheduling, and PO/invoice reconciliation.
• Assist guests with cheese and gourmet item selections and gift baskets.
