Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Gourmet Food Runner for Yellowtail at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. You will help deliver orders, maintain presentation, and support the service team to create exceptional dining experiences for guests.

The role requires strong hospitality, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Training and weekends/holidays are part of the schedule, with competitive starting pay and tips.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar gourmet restaurant.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in Japanese cuisine.
• Experience in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm greeting and guide selections using menu knowledge and selling techniques.
• Be familiar with menu items, prices, preparation method, ingredients, and presentation standards.
• Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, attractions, and activities.
• Maintain table cleanliness and a silent service approach.
• Itemize bills and securely process payments.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and act with urgency.
• Collaborate with team to support guests and colleagues.
• Complete Restaurant Training Program and related testing.
• Perform other duties as requested by the restaurant.
