Uncle Giuseppe's, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cake Decorator to decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.

The role involves maintaining product quality, assisting with production, and providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment. The candidate should have strong cake decorating skills, attention to detail, good math for recipe adjustments, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional training or in-depth training as a Cake Decorator.
• 2+ years of cake decorating experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Creatively decorates all cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.
• Assists with production of all bakery products (parfaits, bars, cupcakes).
• Produces in-house products to daily par levels as per production sheets.
• Prepares, packages, weighs, and prices bakery products for sale.
• Monitors product quality for freshness and rotates stock as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; ensures equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Other duties and functions as assigned
