Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Gospel Musician to support worship at Eglin AFB Chapel, FL. This part-time role collaborates with the pastoral team to select songs and create weekly song slides for the Lead Faith Group Chaplain.

You will lead the 0930 Protestant Gospel Service, supervise choir rehearsals, manage the music library, ensure copyright compliance, and recruit volunteer musicians to sustain a vibrant worship program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music or four years' experience directing and playing for worship services with gospel/contemporary Christian emphasis.
• Must believe and adhere to Protestant Christian faith.
• Ability to play a musical instrument and lead worship simultaneously.
• Ability to play guitar and/or keyboard (other instruments as approved).
• Ability to perform accompaniment with multiple musicians.

Responsibilities

• Work with pastoral team to determine worship style and song selection.
• Create song slides for weekly worship services for Lead Faith Group Chaplain.
• Lead praise team and/or congregational singing at worship services.
• Conduct and lead weekly choir rehearsals.
• Maintain and upgrade the music library for worship services.
• Comply with copyright licensing standards.
• Recruit volunteer musicians and choir members.
