Ladgov Corporation's Gospel Musician role at Eglin AFB Chapel in Florida invites a part-time musician to collaborate with the pastoral team to shape worship style and song selections.

You will create song slides weekly and turn them in to the Lead Faith Group Chaplain, lead the 9:30 Protestant Gospel Service and Holy Day services, conduct choir rehearsals, maintain the music library, and recruit volunteer musicians while ensuring copyright standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music or 4+ years directing/worship experience.
• Ability to play a musical instrument and lead worship concurrently.
• Proficiency in Gospel and Contemporary Christian music styles.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with pastoral team in determining worship style and song selection.
• Create song slides weekly and submit to Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee.
• Lead praise team and/or congregational singing at 9:30 a.m. Protestant Gospel Service and Holy Day services.
• Conduct and lead weekly choir rehearsals.
• Maintain and upgrade the music library and pages used in the worship service.
• Comply with all copyright licensing agreement standards.
• Recruit volunteer musicians and choir members.
