Job summary

Dynamic Planning & Response LLC invites a Gospel Accompanist to support weekly worship at Nelles Chapel (JBPHH) with high-quality keyboard/piano leadership. The role requires coordinating with choirs and musicians to enhance services and participate in rehearsals and seasonal events.

The ideal candidate delivers engaging gospel arrangements, maintains professional standards, and adheres to licensing and chapel policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in keyboard and/or piano accompaniment with a focus on Gospel music.
• Working knowledge of diverse Christian worship styles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a worship team environment.
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide musical accompaniment for weekly Gospel worship services and rehearsals.
• Attend one 90-minute rehearsal and one 90-minute Sunday service (10:45 AM - 12:15 PM).
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to support coordination and readiness.
• Deliver engaging Gospel-style music on keyboard/piano and collaborate with choir and musicians.
• Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and punctuality.
• Provide music support for special and seasonal services, including up to two seasonal events and four additional programs annually.
• Ensure participation in all rehearsals and services unless coordinated in advance with the TPOC.
• Comply with copyright and licensing requirements for all music and lyrics used.
• Adhere to chapel policies regarding offerings and honorariums.
