As a Gooseneck Delivery Driver, you’ll safely and efficiently transport materials using a gooseneck trailer. While a CDL isn’t always required for this type of equipment, the weight of our typical loads does require a valid CDL license to ensure compliance and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a truck with a gooseneck trailer to deliver materials to customers and job sites.
• Secure loads and use tarps or straps as needed to prevent shifting or damage.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods at pickup and drop-off points.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and appearance.
• Provide exceptional service and represent Etna Supply with integrity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience pulling gooseneck trailers or similar equipment
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA driving regulations
• Ability to operate GPS and follow delivery schedules
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer satisfaction
• Ability to lift to 50-100 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or
• Two years commercial driving experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in Plumbing/Waterworks industry is desirable.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

• Valid CDL License - requirement of class A with acceptable driving record
• Current DOT medical certificate, or ability
• Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment
