Job summary

Accenture is hiring a hands-on Specialist to design and deliver Google Cloud-based data and AI solutions. You will build data pipelines, implement ingestion patterns, and support dashboards with Looker, while collaborating with delivery teams and clients.

Role emphasizes mentorship with senior architects, end-to-end project execution, and staying current on GCP releases and Gemini models. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum 2 years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Technical Delivery.
• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming data sources.
• Support development of dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Support ML/AI solution development with Vertex AI, Gemini models, embeddings, and RAG patterns.
• Implement ML pipelines and establish MLOps processes (monitoring, retraining, deployment).
• Contribute to model testing, validation, and documentation.
• Participate in client workshops to understand data needs and translate requirements into tasks.
