Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on Google Cloud data specialist to delivery data pipelines, analytics, and ML solutions. You will work with BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker, Vertex AI, and Gemini models, collaborating with clients and senior architects to design end-to-end data & AI solutions.

You will support data governance, security, and MLOps while learning best practices and contributing to accelerators and reusable components. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, ML Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum 2 years experience with SQL, data modeling and building data pipelines.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical delivery across data & AI projects.
• Build data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and BigQuery query optimization.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming sources.
• Support dashboards and analytics products with Looker/Looker Studio.
• Assist in developing ML/AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini models.
• Develop ML pipelines and contribute to MLOps (monitoring, retraining, deployment).
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG experimentation.
• Contribute to model testing, validation, and documentation.
• Gather requirements via client workshops and translate into technical tasks.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and metadata management with Dataplex/IAM.
• Follow security/compliance practices and support testing/monitoring.
