Job Opportunity: Store Manager at Goodwill

Salary: $30.50/hour with potential incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the retail thrift store including staffing, donation processing, pricing, sales floor presentation, and administrative oversight.
2. Oversee store logistics, inventory, and performance goals.
3. Manage the entire donation process from donation door to sales floor and recycling.
4. Ensure a safe and clean store environment.
5. Provide outstanding customer service and oversee store management team.
6. Recruit, hire, train, and terminate staff as needed.
7. Work collaboratively to meet budget and production goals.
8. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and provide regular reports to relevant departments.
9. Manage store budget, staffing, and operational goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in supervising and hiring staff; retail management experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage budgets and lead organizational initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift 20-100 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass DMV and background checks.

Experience Needed:

• 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in retail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
