Job summary

The Northern Texas PGA is offering a 21-week, full-time internship in golf tournament operations based in Frisco, TX, for Spring 2027. Interns will assist with Junior Tour events, major championships, and PGA TOUR qualifying tournaments while supporting Day‑to‑Day Section activities and Foundation programs.

Successful applicants will contribute to event planning, competition operations, and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic golf setting with possible school credit.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the game and golf rules is preferred.
• Interest in a career in golf or sports administration.
• Students enrolled in a PGA Golf Management program are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-tournament operations, such as information collection and hole location planning.
• Administer on-site duties: registration, starting, officiating, scoring, awards.
• Complete and submit tournament reports and distribute results.
• Coordinate communications with host staff, juniors, parents, and spectators.
• Manage tournament equipment, transport, inventory reporting and maintenance.
• Support Section and Foundation operations on-site on various projects.
• Work with staff on office days (2 per month).
• Assist with travel and schedule coordination for tournaments.
