The Northern Texas PGA in Frisco, TX is offering a 21-week part-time internship in golf tournament operations for Spring 2027. You will help conduct Junior Tour tournaments across the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including pre- and post-tournament tasks.
Weekends are typically required with about 10–18 hours per week. Interns gain exposure to section operations, uniforms are provided, and school credit may be available. Start January 12, 2027; end May 24, 2027.

Frisco, TX
This internship provides aspiring future golf industry professionals with hands-on experience in Section operations and Junior Golf programming. Interns will work alongside Northern Texas PGA staff, PGA of America Golf Professionals, host facilities, and industry partners throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Through this experience, interns will learn how a PGA Section supports the game at the local level while building meaningful connections across the golf industry.
The Spring 2027 internship also offers a unique opportunity to gain experience and assist with the 2027 PGA Championship from May 15 - May 24 at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco.
The Northern Texas PGA staff’s mission is to serve PGA of America golf professionals and grow the game by managing the day-to-day affairs of the Section. The Northern Texas PGA also operates the Northern Texas PGA Foundation and The Ronny Golf Park.

The Northern Texas PGA is seeking qualified applicants for a 21-week part-time internship in golf tournament operations during the Spring of 2027. Successful applicants will be responsible for helping conduct weekend Junior Tour tournaments. In the Spring season, the Junior Tour provides weekend golf tournaments throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for junior golfers ages 7-19.
Tournaments will be located throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and extensive travel around DFW is required. Interns will be responsible for their own transportation to and from all tournaments and to and from the Northern Texas PGA office.
On average, Spring Interns can expect to work Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 10-18 hours, on most weekends. Additional tasks and hours can be added for those with special requirements for obtaining school credit.
The Northern Texas PGA does not provide housing of any kind, but will be more than happy to assist with the location of housing for those unfamiliar with the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Past interns have utilized corporate housing agencies for fully furnished apartment leases, secured house leases through Airbnb, or utilized extended-stay hotels. Those with family or friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex are welcome to stay there and are in no way obligated to live with other interns.
