Forsyth County Parks and Recreation invites applications for a Golf Course Maintenance Worker role with the Tanglewood Golf Maintenance staff. The job involves outdoor work, daily course setup, wilt monitoring, and operating various equipment to maintain greens and fairways.
Schedule is Monday through Friday with shared weekends; May–Sept 6:00–2:30, Oct–Apr 6:30–3:00. A valid driver’s license and pesticide license within one year are required, with preference for turf management training.
Forsyth County Parks and Recreation has a great opportunity to work outdoors with the Tanglewood Golf Maintenance staff.
Daily tasks include but not limited to golf course set up, wilt watching greens, operating aeration equipment, tree cutting and other general golf maintenance work. Also, operating a variety of small equipment and tractors.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday and shared weekends (every other weekend). May - September: 6:00 - 2:30 pm October - April: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
