A well-known educational institution in Bangor, Maine is seeking an Assistant Golf Coach to support the Head Golf Coach in instructing athletes on sport fundamentals and sportsmanship. The candidate will assist with recruiting, academic monitoring, and teaching strength and conditioning. Relevant experience at the high school or intercollegiate levels is required. Qualifications
Proven experience in playing or coaching at the high school or intercollegiate level.
Coaching licenses, certifications, and badges preferred.
Ability to assist players with their swings and short game.
Responsibilities
Assist Head Golf Coach in coaching responsibilities and instructing students.
Monitor academic progress and conduct of student-athletes.
Recruiting and scouting off-campus and organizing practices.
