Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a position within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to assist the head coach in recruiting, scouting, instruction, and academic monitoring of student athletes. The role includes supporting travel planning, compliance, and day-to-day team activities.

The candidate will work with coaches to build relationships with high schools, junior colleges, and clubs, conduct visits, and ensure adherence to NCAA rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accredited college or university with preference given to coaching and recruiting experience at the college level.
• CPR certification within six months after being hired.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach of both teams in recruiting/scouting student athletes.
• Instruct student athletes during practice sessions.
• Academic monitoring of student athletes and progress reports.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the head coach, including travel planning and team activities.
