Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a Golf Starter-5 to help pace play and assist guests at our resort community.

You will greet players at the first tee, manage starting times, explain basic course rules and pace policy, and collaborate with Rangers to ensure a positive experience.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, basic golf knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the flexibility to work early, late, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

The Golf Starter controls the pace of play on the golf course and provides information regarding the course, play time and other related issues.

Your job will include:

• Greet golfers on the first tee, check receipts for payment and record basic golfer information.
• Oversee starting times and pair up golfers into groups.
• Inform golfers as to basic rules and the pace of play policy.
• Work with Rangers to monitor the pace of play policy and intervene when necessary.
• Monitor and attend to any issues to ensure a positive customer experience for players.

Experience & skills you’ll need:

• Ability to work early/late hours, including weekdays, weekends and holidays as required.
• Basic knowledge of golf preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license
