Job summary

The Indoor Golf Shop is seeking a Golf Simulator Installation Specialist to build premium golf simulator environments from the ground up. You will travel nationwide, install and troubleshoot AV equipment, turf systems, and enclosures, and work with project teams to deliver exceptional results in homes and commercial spaces.

This hands-on role requires carpentry/installation experience, problem-solving, and strong customer communication as you bring clients’ dream golf spaces to life.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction, installation, carpentry, flooring, handyman work, or related field.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow project plans, measurements, and instructions.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-site golf simulator installations from start to finish.
• Install and assemble screens and enclosures, turf and subfloor systems, wall and ceiling protection, TVs/monitors/cameras, and other AV equipment.
• Read and follow project plans, measurements, and installation instructions.
• Work with Installation Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and find practical solutions in the field.
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally with customers while working in their homes or businesses.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and safe.
• Travel throughout the U.S. to complete installation projects — approximately 85% travel.

At The Indoor Golf Shop (TIGS), we’re helping customers bring the ultimate golf experience into their homes and businesses. From luxury home golf simulators to commercial golf facilities, our Installation Team brings these projects to life across the country.

As a Golf Simulator Installation Specialist, you’ll play a hands-on role in building premium golf simulator environments from the ground up. No two projects are exactly alike, and you’ll have the opportunity to work in unique spaces, travel throughout the U.S., and see the excitement your work creates for our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Complete on-site golf simulator installations from start to finish

• Install and assemble:

  • Golf simulator screens and enclosures

  • Turf and subfloor systems

  • Wall and ceiling protection

  • TVs, monitors, cameras, and other AV equipment

  • Simulator components and accessories

• Read and follow project plans, measurements, and installation instructions

• Work closely with the Installation Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and find practical solutions in the field

• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail

• Communicate professionally with customers while working in their homes or businesses

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and safe

• Travel throughout the U.S. to complete installation projects — approximately 85% travel

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being hands-on, and can confidently take ownership of a project in the field.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of experience in construction, installation, carpentry, flooring, handyman work, or a related field

• Experience using power tools and hand tools

• Ability to read and follow project plans, measurements, and instructions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable working in customers’ homes and commercial environments

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• High school diploma or GED

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Audio/visual equipment

• Basic PC or technology setup

• Carpeting, flooring, or turf installation

• Electrical or low‑voltage installation

• Golf simulators or launch monitors

• A passion for golf or understanding of the golf swing

• Travel: Approximately 85% nationwide travel

• Work Environment: Residential and commercial customer locations, construction/installation environments, and travel

• Physical Requirements: This is a hands‑on position that may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and working with tools and equipment for extended periods.
