Job summary

Bismarck Parks & Recreation District is seeking a Golf Shop Facility Attendant in Bismarck, ND to support daily golf operations and ensure efficient service at the golf shop and Fore Seasons Center as applicable.

Responsibilities include check-in, POS processing, tee sheet management, and coordinating with staff to maintain smooth daily operations. This role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of golf course operations, customer service, and retail experience.
Ability to provide high level customer service to all consumers; work well with others and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to prepare written reports and to report repair needs to supervisor.
Must maintain a fitness level acceptable to perform the skills required of the position.
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds alone or heavier with other employees.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with check-in, transactions, and point of sale operations; accurately process payment and make correct change.
Communicate daily rules, policies and instructions to players.
Coordinate with outside service staff, starters, and player assistants to help ensure smooth daily operations during assigned shifts.
Maintain cleanliness of outside service areas; ensure driving range is free of baskets and assist with range ball collection at Fore Seasons Center (if applicable).
Monitor the 1st and 10th tees and notify outside staff when range ball collection or assistance is needed.
Maintain awareness of operational equipment and report any functional or safety concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
Follow all BPRD safety policies and procedures outlined in the Risk Management Handbook.
Complete all necessary payroll forms and utilize the electronic time and attendance timekeeping system.
Understand and follow the standard operating procedures outlined in the employee manual.
Understand and follow the Human Resource Policy and Procedure Handbook items related to this position.
Represent BPRD in a professional and positive manner. BPRD issues clothing and equipment to employees and the issued items are to be used in an appropriate manner, not inconsistent with the image BPRD wishes to convey to the public.
