Job summary

Palm-Aire Golf Club is seeking a friendly, dependable Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This part-time role involves sales, merchandising, booking tee times, and assisting with golf events while delivering top-notch service to members and guests.

The ideal candidate enjoys golf, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; golf knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read and speak English.
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Golf knowledge and passion preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection and sales.
• Operate the POS system for cash/credit transactions.
• Schedule and manage tee times.
• Maintain the golf shop's appearance and displays.
• Receive, tag, and organize new merchandise shipments.
• Answer phones and respond to questions about conditions, events, policies.
• Coordinate with golf professionals and outside services for smooth operations.
• Assist with tournament registration, scoring, and event logistics.
• Perform opening and closing duties including cash reconciliation.
