The Preserve at Ironhorse in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a part-time seasonal Golf Shop Attendant to warmly greet members, assist in daily opening/closing, answer phones, process POS transactions, and help maintain inventory.

This role emphasizes high-quality service, professional appearance, standing for long periods, supporting events, and keeping merchandise neatly displayed in a well-organized shop environment.

Formación

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to lift items up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• To welcome everyone to the club in a clear, friendly, professional manner.
• Assist in the daily golf shop opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain and update daily opening and closing checklists including daily play records.
• Answering phones, golfer check-in, and operating the point of sale system.
• Assist in maintaining pace of play on the golf course and order of play.
• Assist in running of tournaments and special events.
• Help maintaining sufficient inventory levels of all operating supplies including scorecards, pencils, tees, shopping bags, and any other materials needed within the guidelines of providing the highest level of service.
• Assist with monthly inventory processes and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring that any shipments that are delivered to or shipped from the Golf Shop are directed in the correct manner.
• Ensuring that merchandise is displayed neatly and cleanly.
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and supply storage area. This includes any basic cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and taking out the trash.

Position reports to: Head Golf Professional/Assistant Golf Professional

Full Time/Part Time/Seasonal: This is a Part Time/Seasonal Position

Areas of responsibility: The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for maintaining and assuring the highest quality of service to all members and their guests. These responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

General Information

The Golf Shop Attendant is a highly visible employee. Appearance and attitude are extremely important criteria. This employee must take pride in their appearance, ensuring that their clothing is neat and pressed at all times. The Golf Shop Attendant should be well groomed at all times; beards or long hair should be neat and trimmed. Any visible tattoos must be covered. Also, the Golf Shop Attendant should refrain from using cell phones or any other personal device while on duty. At times, the Golf Shop attendant will be on their feet for most of their shift and may be asked to lift items up to 25 lbs.
