Job Summary

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for promoting the game of golf and the Club while providing the Three Steps of Service to Members and guests. Responsibilities include providing quality service, ordering merchandise, and managing golf shop operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, accurately process transactions, and check in all golfers. Proper cash handling and meeting operational standards are essential.
• Respond to inquiries and make tee times for Members and guests both in-person and over the phone. Focus on Members' and guests' needs while remaining professional and courteous, even under pressure.
• Manage inventory controls, merchandise check-in, and organization of storage and display areas. Maintain stock levels of shirts, socks, gloves, hats, balls, etc.
• Assist with marshaling, starting, and outside services as needed.
• Support the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators with shop assistance.

About You

• Customer service experience and basic golf knowledge.
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
