Twice in Mansfield, Texas, is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to welcome golfers, assist with merchandise, and process purchases at the pro shop. You will maintain an organized display, answer questions about club services and events, and support inventory and daily shop operations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, lift/carry up to 100 lbs., talk, hear, and see.
  • Availability to work required scheduled hours, including additional hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in the pro-shop by welcoming golfers, accurately processing charges at the register, and properly checking in all players before their round.
  • Adhere to proper cash handling procedures and ensure all operational standards are met.
  • Handle member and guest inquiries, manage tee-time bookings in person and over the phone, and engage in friendly, professional conversations.
  • Maintain a calm, courteous, and attentive demeanor, even in high-pressure situations, to provide a superior customer experience.
  • Oversee inventory management by checking in merchandise according to procedures, organizing storage and display areas, maintaining stock levels, informing customers when special orders arrive, and handling returns and credits.
  • Assist with course operations by marshaling, starting, and supporting outside services as needed.
  • Support outside golf operations staff to ensure proper execution of daily procedures and policies.
  • Execute end-of-day business functions following club guidelines and established procedures.
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed to club standards, including maintaining organized work areas, tidying the pro-shop and entry areas, and restocking merchandise.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators.
  • Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Follow safe working practices and comply with safety guidelines.
  • Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities.

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for promoting the game of golf and the club's offerings while delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests.
