Job summary

Southworth is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant in a seasonal, on-site role in HAVERHILL, MA. You will warmly greet guests, help them pick golf merchandise, and handle checkout using the POS system.

You’ll keep the shop neat, inform guests about tee times and events, and assist with rentals and inventory to ensure a polished, welcoming experience. Ideal candidates bring prior retail or golf-related customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for golf.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with a warm and professional demeanor.

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop, ensuring merchandise displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
• Provide information about the country club's golf services, tee times, and upcoming events.
• Answer phone inquiries, schedule tee times, and manage reservations.
• Coordinate and manage golf club rentals for customers.
• Assist in managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing items as needed.
• Collaborate with the golf events team to support the coordination of tournaments and outings.
