Position Purpose: The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for working in the club’s golf shop and providing customer service to members and guests.
- Adheres to policies of GoldOller Real Estate Investments.
- Opens and closes the Pro Shop and performs all associated duties.
- Acts on behalf of the Golf Director by administering existing policies and regulations.
- Responsible for interacting with members and guests and providing excellent customer service.
- Uses a computerized cash register to collect golf fees and make retail merchandise sales.
- Completes necessary registration paperwork.
- Determines order of play and calls players to the first tee, ensuring timely flow.
- Answers the phone and makes reservations.
- Provides information and answers questions concerning various programs.
- Receives, prices, and stocks retail items.
- Assists with inventory count of retail items.
- Keeps the golf shop clean and organized.
- Performs maintenance tasks such as pulling and washing golf carts, and keeping the cart storage area tidy.
- Performs other duties related to golf course maintenance and operations as assigned.
- Reports incidents or accidents to the Facility Manager and ensures patron safety.
- Maintains surveillance of patrons and acts immediately in emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year sales or customer service experience.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing, and carrying.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale systems, computers, and calculators.
- Professional appearance with appropriate dress/uniform.
