Job summary

cmpcareers is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to operate a point-of-sale system and handle greens fees, merchandise, and food and beverage sales. You will assist customers, provide exceptional service, and process transactions following district policies. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred, with 18+ to handle beer sales. Golf knowledge is a plus, and strong communication with guests is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a point-of-sale system to sell merchandise, greens fees, and food/beverage.
• Handle cash transactions in line with park district cash-handling policies.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection and provide outstanding service.
• Receive and help resolve visitors' complaints, escalate unresolved issues.
• Keep supervisor informed of key issues and concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and respond to safety concerns.
