Job summary

Worldwide Golf is hiring a Sales Associate for Golf & Ski Warehouse to promote a customer‑driven store culture and provide informed recommendations on golf and ski equipment. You will help customers compare products, demonstrate features, and support merchandising and inventory tasks.

Full‑time role with opportunities for growth within a large golf retail network; training is provided to ensure a strong product and brand understanding across all locations.

Qualifications

Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary; industry experience is NOT required.
Ability to stand and move around the store; weekend hours may be required.
Basic computer skills for inventory, ordering and store operations.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Sales Associate at Golf & Ski Warehouse is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. Responsibilities include:

Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.
Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in‑store experience
Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Desired

Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is NOT required.

Requirements

Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
Have a working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including one day on the weekend.
