Job summary

Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana is hiring a Golf Retail Associate for the upcoming summer season. You will assist Members and guests with product knowledge, sales support, and smooth checkout while maintaining club standards.

Join our Golf Shop team and help keep merchandise organized, process transactions, and support tee times and reservations. This seasonal role demands strong customer service, basic math, and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• 1–2 years in customer service.
• Basic math and cash handling experience.
• Ability to interact with members, guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide product knowledge and sales support to Members and guests.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise.
• Maintain neat, organized, stocked selling floor.
• Assist in inventory in stockroom and on floor.
• Process cash register transactions and assist with tee times/reservations.
• Ensure merchandise presentation meets club standards.

Yellowstone Club’s Golf department is currently seeking candidates for a Golf Retail Associate for the upcoming Summer season! Our Summer employment months are June through September.

The purpose of the Golf Retail Associate is to assist in providing product knowledge and sales support to Members and guests with Yellowstone Club’s standards and expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Utilize elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked.
• Assist in the maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
• Properly execute all relevant register functions.
• Assist will request tee times and reservations.
• Ensure merchandise is neat, clean, and pressed for presentation in the Golf Shop to the Club’s standards.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work Good interpersonal communication skills One to two years’ experience in customer service
• Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Previous cash handling experience
• Basic mathematical skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percent’s
• Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, co-workers, and management
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed (these are our busiest times)
