The Rio Grande Club and Resort is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support day-to-day golf operations under the Head Golf Professional. You will supervise operations in the absence of the Head, assist with tournaments, lessons, and member programs, while upholding top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities include player development support, clerical duties, and coordinating events, with a strong emphasis on professionalism and community engagement.

Qualifikationen

• Actively pursue PGA membership through the PGA PGM program.
• Fundamental knowledge of golf, rules, facility and tournament operations.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated with desire to promote and market.
• Service and customer-focused attitude.
• Experience in written and oral business communications.
• Familiar with PGA player development programs.

Aufgaben

• Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in managing facility tournament operations including weekly events.
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics.
• Assist with Player Development programs using PGA tools and resources.
• Manage outside staff to ensure high-quality service.
