Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Golf Professional based at The Back Nine – East Austin. The Golf Pro will be responsible for delivering high-quality golf instruction using simulator technology, supporting new and existing players in their development, and helping shape a welcoming and inclusive experience for all members.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and group instruction using Full Swing simulator data and video analysis
• Assisting with lesson program design and member onboarding
• Maintaining teaching areas and golf equipment in top condition
• Supporting in-house events, clinics, or league play as needed
• Representing The Back Nine brand and culture in all interactions

Qualifications

• Experience in golf instruction (indoor or outdoor); simulator experience a plus
• Comfortable using technology and data (launch monitors, video feedback) to guide instruction
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach to building a student base
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team
• PGA or LPGA certification is preferred but not required
• Prior experience in a golf teaching or operations role is a plus
