Job summary

Merut Construction Corporation is seeking a Performance and Wellness Specialist to deliver golf-specific fitness, mobility, and wellness programs for members, while coordinating with golf instructors and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires CPT and CPR/AED certification, with TPI credentials preferred; on-site work in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and a collaborative team environment. Nonclinical coaching boundaries apply and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Current recognized CPT and CPR/AED certification required; TPI or comparable golf-specific credentials preferred.
• Zero (0) years of experience with applicable technical certification or two (2) years without, together with demonstrable coaching and gym-safety competence.
• Knowledge of athletic mobility, biomechanics, general recovery, gym operations, consent/screening, emergency response, and nonclinical professional scope limits.

Responsibilities

• Coaching golf-specific fitness with one-on-one and small groups within approved credentials and plans.
• Conduct non-diagnostic mobility and performance assessments and retain waivers and progress notes.
• Coordinate conditioning objectives with Golf Instructors and leadership; do not diagnose or treat.
• Provide general wellness guidance on hydration, sleep, movement, and recovery.
• Guide recovery tools after proper screening and training; ensure safety.
• Monitor gym floor technique, equipment use, CPR/AED readiness, and incident reporting.
