• Alerts the Golf Shop Staff when members add or remove bags from club storage.
• Ensures that members and guests have an enjoyable day at the club when they visit.
• Report any damaged, broken, or misused equipment to the Golf Shop Staff as soon as possible; record the damage and by whom.
• Inspect the quality of work, club and bag carts, and practice ball cleaning.
• Assigns service employees to daily duties and shift leader.
• Is alert to the weather or approaching inclement weather.

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is seeking a Golf Outside Service Assistant. You will be afforded the ideal opportunity to put your golf skills to work in a beautiful environment and friendly atmosphere, steps away from the white sand beach and the Audubon-certified golf course designed by the legend Arnold Palmer.

Outside Service Assistant Position Overview

The Outside Service Assistant provides all members and guests with Bag, Cart, Range, and on-course services. This candidate must know about the game of golf and its rules, be friendly, discreet, and courteous, and possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of and ability to perform required roles in emergencies while conducting themselves in a professional and friendly manner.
