Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager at Soboba Springs Golf Course. The role drives golf operations, tournaments, and revenue while upholding service excellence for members and guests.

A qualified candidate will have PGA membership (Class A/B) or Level 1 PGA PGM, strong knowledge of golf rules and etiquette, and solid organizational and computer skills. Professionalism and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PGA membership (Class A/B) or PGA PGM Level 1.
• Knowledge of golf, rules, etiquette and course care.
• Organizational ability to manage golf events and records.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with POS.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with outside service staff to ensure high service quality.
• Directly responsible for maintaining the USGA Handicap System.
• Assist in tournament operations including scheduling and communication.
• Coordinate with department heads on golf event scheduling.
• Assist with budgets and revenue initiatives for the golf course.
• Maintain inventory for shop, merchandising and special orders.
• Support golf car operation and practice facility.
• Maintain professional image and customer service across Soboba Springs.
