Job summary

Westfield offers a PGM Intern position within the Golf Operations team, providing hands-on exposure to member and guest services. The internship covers golf operations, merchandising, tournament administration, instruction, and daily club activities while supporting PGA PGM education requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
Enrolled in a PGA PGM Program or pursuing a career in golf management.

Responsibilities

Assist outside golf operations including cart staging, event preparation, practice facility management, and golf cart fleet operations.
Support tournament and event preparation, registration, scoring, and execution.
Assist golf shop operations, including check-in, tee sheet management, and merchandise sales.
Assist golf professionals with clinics, junior golf programs, and member events.
Seeks feedback from supervisors or mentors, actively seeking opportunities for improvement, and applying learning to enhance performance throughout the internship.
For field roles, only: Expected to drive/travel at least 25% of working time to perform essential functions. This may involve traveling on short notice or other daily driving duties as assigned.
