Job summary

Westfield Insurance offers a PGM Intern position within its Golf Operations team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional member and guest services while gaining hands-on experience across golf operations, merchandising, tournaments, instruction, and daily club activities aligned with PGM education requirements.

You will assist with cart management, event prep, tee sheet handling, shop operations, clinics, and junior programs, while seeking feedback to continuously improve performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or commensurate experience.
• Enrolled in PGA PGM Program or pursuing a career in golf management.
• For field roles, valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist outside golf operations including cart staging, event preparation, practice facility management, and golf cart fleet operations.
• Support tournament and event preparation, registration, scoring, and execution.
• Assist golf shop operations, including check-in, tee sheet management, and merchandise sales.
• Assist golf professionals with clinics, junior golf programs, and member events.
• Seek feedback from supervisors or mentors, actively seeking opportunities for improvement, and applying learning to enhance performance.
• For field roles, travel or driving at least 25% of working time to perform essential functions.
