Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent plus 12 years of professional experience including 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Leads and participates in daily and event operations.
Plans, directs, and coordinates the golf program (course maintenance, driving range sales, Pro Shop retail, rounds and events).
Works with a team to develop and implement departmental strategies and manage the UGA Golf Course brand.
Responsible for short and long-range planning and budgeting for the Golf Course.
Acts as community liaison and represents the University on golf-related issues; responds to complaints and engages with stakeholders.
Directs and coordinates staff activities, ensuring hiring, training, performance reviews, and a positive work environment.
Establishes annual operating budgets, long-range plans, and cost controls; seeks additional funding sources.
