The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to learn. This on-site position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and customer service in a premier golf environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and start players on the first tee, explaining the rules.
  • Maintain starting sheets and track the whereabouts of players to avoid confusion.
  • Cue groups to move to the first tee and ensure not more than one group is on the tee at a time.
  • Tour the course assisting players to maintain the posted pace of play for the day.
  • Check restrooms and water stations on a regular schedule.
  • Maintain proper spacing on the course to avoid delays.
  • Complete the golfer tracking report daily.
  • Remind players of the cart rules of the day.
  • Repair ball marks and collect trash; replace any hazard stakes or signage.
  • Communicate with the Golf Shop and Starter regularly.
  • Monitor the course and assist golfers; report problems promptly to the Head Professional.
  • Incorporate safe work practices and maintain regular attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
